Feel that you have lost control of your life through drugs and
alcohol....
I started taking drugs at high school: First, it
was binge drinking at weekends, then I used marijuana,
later speed and I even used heroin for a while. I managed
to get off the hard stuff but alcohol and marijuana
were still causing me problems. Through counselling
I’ve been able to give up marijuana and control
my drinking. I feel like I have control over my life
and can now finish things I want to do. I feel really
different on the inside too - good about myself. I
no longer need to escape from life by using drugs.
